Well, i don’t know which songs you like the most. Ballads, up, etc…

Here’s the top 5 MC albums you should listen (to me) :

• Mariah Carey (1990), self-titled debut studio album : this album is a classic, it’s her first album ever, the album that gave birth to the legend. Song you should listen: Vanishing
• Daydream (1995) : this is her second most successful album, after Music Box and also her first album with R&B influences with classics as Fantasy (especially the remix with ODB) or Always Be My Baby - in my opinion the singles are not the best songs of the album but this only my opinion. 
  
• Butterfly (1997) : here’s the new Mariah, the real Mariah. One of her most personal album and also her favorite. The ballads are awesome in this album, well most of the songs are pure awesomeness like The Roof (my personal favorite), Butterfly, Outside, Close My Eyes, …
• Glitter (2001) : yeah i know, her most famous flop lol but i think the album is quite good. A lot of 80s/funky influences. A must-listen.
• The Emancipation of Mimi (2005) : the return of The Voice, also a classic with the song of the decade We Belong Together. You should listen to the ultra platinum edition, the bonus tracks are my favorites, especially So Lonely. Her voice is quite sexy on this one. If you like her powerful voice, listen to Mine Again.

You should listen (and buy ahah) her last album too, Me. I am Mariah. In my opinion this is the most worked album of her career. You can hear the Mariah from different eras in it. You can listen to it for free on iTunes US radio (i don’t know if you still can listen to this at the moment).
